Net Result
The heart of the Hi-Nets system is the actual netting itself. Specially developed to conform to the highest quality standards, the netting is manufactured from a knotted synthetic stranded mesh which has been selected to provide outstanding resistance to ball impact and abrasion, wind and weather.
The dimensions of the mesh and the aerodynamic performance of the filament ensures that the net performs both in effectively stopping the balls, yet allowing the wind to pass freely through it without excessive resistance. The netting is normally black but can be manufactured in other colours. An ultraviolet stabiliser is added to provide additional resistance to adverse weather conditions.
The net panels are individually manufactured with edge border cords and overlocked stitching along all sides. Mesh dimensions will vary depending on the sport. The net panels can incorporate a metre high section running parallel to the bottom of the net which allows for simple and inexpensive replacement in the event of damage by animals or machinery.

Posts are used where nets are required to conform to tight corners or awkward terrain. Posts are fabricated in various forms – round, square, straight, tapered – but always to exacting standards and never from ‘off the peg’ components. Specially designed fixings ensure that there are no sharp edges which could damage or abrade the net.
- A more cost effective build for lower or smaller fences.

The Hi-Nets aluminium system is a simple yet sophisticated method of erecting a net where the appearance of the finished product is of the utmost importance. The physical limitations on the net are greater than in the post or tower methods, but this is offset by the improved aesthetics.

Mobile Netting Systems
Suitable for all terrains, including uneven ground, Hi Nets mobile netting is a lightweight and highly flexible temporary system which can be used in a variety of ways to protect personnel and property from being struck by wayward balls.
The system is based on 10 metre modules, allowing the use of additional ‘bolt-on’ sections. Freestanding, demountable posts are fitted with stable folding steel tripod bases. The bases are fully moveable and can be screwed securely into the ground using special ground anchor devices. Storage is simple and convenient as all components can be folded and packed away when not in use.

Mobile Netting System

It features a totally demountable post and net system which is used by golf and other facilities both to protect ground staff working on the course, as well as any other personnel in danger of being struck by wayward balls.
